The basic rate provides for the following:
- Licensed nursing coverage 24 hours a day
- Dispensing of medication at prescribed times by a licensed nurse or medication aide
- Three balanced and nutritious meals cooked daily on the premises and nourishments between meals
- Therapeutic diets as ordered by the physician
- Hand feeding, if necessary
- Use of wheelchairs, Geri chairs, and walkers for nonexclusive use as available
- Access to a Notary Public
- A range of assistance from a daily living skill to "total care"
- Daily activities listed on the monthly activity calendar
- Washing of laundry (Dry cleaning is not included)
- Housekeeping and maintenance
The Althea Woodland is licensed by and meets all of the requirements of the state and county health departments as a skilled nursing facility. This licensure could help in reducing your federal income tax because the entire cost of a stay here may qualify as a tax deduction.
